A Rose is a Rose hat

So, this is my first free pattern post.  The pattern here is for the Rose is a Rose hat that was orignially posted by "Auntie M", but the page is rather hard to find, so I thought I should go ahead and re-post the pattern here.  I have tested this pattern, so I know that it is reliable.  The size of the hat depends on the size of the hook you use. The pattern originally calls for a 4.5 mm hook, but you can generally pick your hook size base on the size of hat you want.  Worsted weight yarn is used. If I remember right, the 4.5 hook made a 6-9 month size hat, but I could be wrong.

  5. What would one have to do to make this hat for an adult. Also love the flower. Where can one find that pattern?

  6. Hi, i am trying this hat but i think i need more rows in the beginning between row 7 and 8 to make it bigger. So, I think i can figure it out how to add stitches. But then i don't know how to make the second part (from row 8 onward) bigger. Can you help me? My daughters head is about 17inches in circumference (European hat size 43). thanx, kat
